DSC00698 The Wallworker clamps are suitable for building concrete retaining walls, raised garden beds and fences from 100 to 300mm thick and are available in two sizes – for 300 and 600 mm deep boards

Using these clamps lets you strip off your formwork while the concrete is green without disturbing the shape of the wall and the top clamping bar can be used to pivot the forms off the wall. So there is no need for a hammer.

This also allows you to remove your forms when the concrete is in a jelly like state, allowing you to work on the face of the concrete.

  The number of forms required per cubic metre

The chart below shows, you how many forms you need per cubic metre, depending on the wall thickness:
For example, if you were making a 300mm thick wall using 1.8 metres long x 600 mm deep forms
you would need 16 forms for a 5 cubic metre pour.
